Cycle Touring in the Scottish Highlands- September 2002

Route: Alness-Helmsdale | Helmsdale-John-O-Groats | John-O-Groats-Melvich | Melvich-Lairg | Lairg-Ullapool | Ullapool-Alness

The tour started from Alness, we headed up the A9 finishing up at Helmsdale pictured right..

We turned off of the A99 at Lybster, and discovered the Camster Cairns (burial chambers)...
